Welcoming Digital Chocolate to the Empire Family
Empire Interactive has acquired the Digital Chocolate brand rights and selected intellectual property assets, bringing one of the mobile gaming industry’s most established brands into the Empire Interactive family.
As part of this new structure, Digital Chocolate will operate as the dedicated mobile games studio within Empire Interactive. The studio will lead our mobile publishing and development initiatives, building on the legacy of the Digital Chocolate brand while creating new experiences for modern mobile audiences.
We believe the Digital Chocolate name represents an important part of mobile gaming history, and we look forward to continuing that legacy under the Empire Interactive family.
Introducing Empire Interactive Studio
We are also proud to introduce Empire Interactive Studio, our new first-party game development studio.
Empire Interactive Studio has been established as our dedicated internal development team focused exclusively on creating original AAA and AA-quality games. The studio will develop only first-party titles, with every project published globally under the Empire Interactive label.
Our goal is to build high-quality interactive experiences that define the future of the Empire brand and establish new long-term franchises for players across PC and console platforms.
Expanding Opportunities Through Xplosiv
Alongside our first-party initiatives, we are relaunching Xplosiv as our publishing label dedicated to supporting independent developers and emerging studios.
Under the Xplosiv brand, we will work with talented creators developing lower-budget and independent titles, providing publishing support and bringing their games to players worldwide. All projects within this initiative will be released under the Xplosiv label while benefiting from Empire Interactive’s publishing expertise and global reach.
